Larger clinical trials next step in bid for life-saving liver transplant patient dialysis device (06/23)

The Network welcomes the results from the clinical trial into the efficacy of a new liver dialysis device for people in need of a liver transplant. Research at the University of London (UCL) on the new DIALIVE device found it safely improved organ function and alleviated symptoms in patients with chronic liver failure compared with others receiving standard treatment. Now a larger-scale trial is needed.
