Great news for patients as NIHR recognised as world’s most transparent research funding body (06/23)

The NIHR (National Institute for Health and Care Research), one of the major funders of organ donation and transplantation research, has adopted the World Health Organisation’s recommendations for maximising clinical trial transparency and minimising waste. In response, Professor Lorna Marson, UKODTRN Co-Director, said: “As a network, we place patients at the heart of all that we do, and this finding is great news for patients and researchers alike, optimising the potential for patient benefit.”
